The Technology endorsement is a part of the state of Illinois licensure requirements and requires the coursework and passing of the state content test. This endorsement is in addition to your selected degree program, but see below how the coursework can overlap.
Required Courses: Technology Endorsement, 5 Courses (20 Credits)
While the endorsement only requires 18 credits, the available courses at the University of Illinois are 4 credits each, so you will need to take 5 courses.

Technology Endorsement Registration Tip
The endorsement coursework can be part of the 32 hours for the EdM degree or 64 hours for the doctoral degree, so a course may count for both the degree and the endorsement. Check out this EdM Program planning template for a sample of courses.
