The following are the most common questions we received related to an LDL course. We also receive several common questions associated with the CGScholar Platform
– Go to the course community => Click “Shares” on the right part of the page => Look for the “All Admin Updates” link => Open it,
Click the course name on the left part of the course community page =>
– Or: Open the drop-down menu under the community’s name => Updates => Filter updates (top right corner of the community page) => “From:” Admin and you will see only the updates posted by Admins
– Or: Star any update that you want by clicking the star on the top right part of the update and then, following the same path as previously mentioned, you can filter to “Show:” => Starred updates.
Click the notification you received for Work request.
DO NOT start your work in Creator independently, because it will not be connected to the course project and we will not be able to see it.
If you have not received the Work Request notification, contact the TA.
To find your Work after you have started it: Go to Creator => Works
Make sure you have followed the instructions on the General Work Guidelines section, which includes the Basic Work Elements and the Formatting Checklist, as well as the specific guidelines for the Course Project.
Prior to Spring 2023, works were submitted as Work 1 and Work 2A or 2B; Spring 2023 to present these works are submitted as a single work. Requirements are similar, so these examples can still be of value.
Examples of Works 1 and 2A – Learning Theory Exegesis
Examples of Works 2B – Learning Module
You have to complete 2-3 peer reviews. If you are only assigned one peer review, contact a TA.
The coded annotations metric in Analytics is updated manually. So, you will see that being updated close to the end of the course.
